Pretty church in downtown Dublin

In Dublin we strolled down the pedestrian friendly Grafton Street in the sunshine, passing a variety of lovely historic buildings.

We peeked down charming lanes such as Lemon Street and Anne Street, with it's view of the sunlit St. Ann's. Now part of the Church of Ireland, this was built in 1707. In 1868, a neo-Romanesque facade was added.

The church with its red door and screen of pink bunting was one of the views that struck and stayed with me from that afternoon stroll in downtown Dublin.

The coffee and cakes in Bewley's Cafe, on the other side of Grafton, was great too, as were the musicians and mimes who performed in the open air.
