Like to be a reviewer for the 2022 Whistler Independent Book Awards?

Established in 2016, the WIBAs recognize excellence in Canadian self-publishing. This year prizes will be awarded for fiction, non-fiction and children’s books (new for 2022). Entries are open until April 30.

The Whistler Independent Book Awards are the only adjudicated awards for self-published Canadian authors. Each book entered receives a detailed review from a member of Canadian Authors, a century-old national writers network.

The short list in each category will be revealed in the summer. WIBA Winners will be announced at the annual Whistler Writers Festival, held in Whistler, BC from October 13 - 16th.

As Reviews Coordinator for Canadian Authors and the WIBAs, I am seeking additional reviewers. Books will be posted and the reading period will commence in June with reviews submitted by mid-August.
