Remembering Venice

In May the Vancouver Island Choir visited Venice as part of a larger tour. Listening to Tracy Chevalier’s novel The Glass Maker, set in Murano and Venice, is evoking some nostalgia for this unique and delightful place. Though I developed a cough and could not sing, it was a thrill to sit in the audience among the Venetians and listen to our choir sing in a beautiful church on a canal.
