Final novel of the Secrecy Trilogy.

When WWII is declared, German-born Barbara is 20 years old and feels English. Fearing her Oxford degree in languages will not protect her parents from being treated as enemy aliens, she joins the WRNS and uses her German skills to become a secret listener and thus prove the family’s loyalty to their adopted country. Only when the war is over does she accept her true identity and prepare to forge a new life in Canada for herself and her young son Peter.
