Novel Research: immersing myself in times and places

Over the past several years of working on this trilogy, I’ve steeped myself in the time and place settings of my novels in order to give the work an authentic feel.

This has included watching a variety of films as well as reading a great many books, both fiction and non-fiction.

I have also travelled to the locations used in my books.

Situated right beside my desk, this bookcase holds most of the books I’ve read to immerse myself in the worlds portrayed in The Secrecy Trilogy.
